Info for Swim Season 2012!
Welcome to another season of RHS Girls Swimming & Diving! Please find information pertaining to the season below. Be sure to turn in registration material (info below) to the main office prior to the start of the season!
WHEN? The girls swim season begins August 20th, 2012 and runs through the league, district and State meet in November. Swimmers compete through their highest qualifying level. The opening 4 weeks will be at Wedgwood Pool, although I have not been given the exact time we can fit into their pool schedule. Practices are daily, Monday through Friday and during the school year start at 6:00 AM.
WHERE? This can be tricky!
WHO? Incoming Freshmen, interested RHS students, and veteran swim team members with all levels of competitive experience are welcome. Swimming is a non-cut sport, but knowledge of all 4 strokes is important. Please drop me an email if you are interested in joining the team and I will include you on team info emails.
WHY? Being a part of a team is a great way to get involved and get to know Roosevelt students of all grade levels.
WHAT? You need to have all athletic registration materials/physical completed before you can get in the water. This year registration info can be downloaded by going to http://www.rhsseattle.org/athletics.php It is best to have this info turned into the main office during the first few weeks in August.

- Our ‘early season’ practice pool is Wedgwood. It is located at 7727 28th Ave. N.E. (Practice time to be announced in an email/Facebook)
- Our ‘early AM practice pool’ is Helene Madison. It is located at 13401 Meridian N. (This time is 6:00 – 7:00 AM)
- Our ‘home pool’ for swim meets is Evans Pool at Greenlake 7201 E. Green Lk. Way
